Deadlines for Opting In and Out of Lunches
and requesting the Vegetarian Menu Option

Full members opting out of a lunch (and associates opting in) must normally inform the Lunch Secretary (with a copy to the Secretary)* by MONDAY NIGHT, the week before the meeting. This also applies to notification of attendance of guests.  In accordance with our Club's rules failure by full members to notify non attendance in good time may result in you being charged for the lunch. Note that our Vice Chairman, Bob Reid is covering as Lunch Secretary for September until December 2025).

The deadline is necessary because The Royal Motor Yacht Club needs our exact lunch numbers by the Tuesday before our monthly meetings (i.e. one week before).  It follows that if you have notified your opt out for a particular meeting you cannot then turn up at that lunch meeting and expect lunch to be available because the Lunch Secretary will not have ordered a lunch for you. 

 

​If you need to opt in or out of the monthly lunch or are bringing a guest please contact our Vice Chairman, Bob Reid (who is covering for Sep, Oct, Nov and Dec 2025), by email or telephone by MONDAY NIGHT one week before at the latest. Please also copy in the Secretary, Stephen Macey.

Monthly Menu - the menu is published on the website here. If you require the vegetarian alternative you must inform, Bob Reid (for Sep, Oct, Nov and Dec 2025), by email or telephone by MONDAY NIGHT one week before at the latest.
