Deadlines for Opting In and Out of Lunches

Please note that effective from 1 November 2024 our rules and practice regarding notification of attendance and non-attendance at lunches have changed.

 

Full members opting out of a lunch (and associates opting in) must inform the Lunch Secretary by MONDAY NIGHT, the week before the meeting and not Thursday lunchtime as was previously the case. This also applies to notification of attendance of guests.

 

So for the March 2025 meeting you will need to advise Bob Francis, Lunch Secretary (with a copy to the Secretary, Stephen Macey) before midnight on Monday, 10 March.  It follows that the monthly Probus Jogger email will now be issued earlier to remind Members. 

 

This is because The Royal Motor Yacht Club needs our lunch numbers by the Tuesday before our monthly meetings (i.e. one week before).

If you need to opt in or out of the monthly lunch or are bringing a guest please contact the Lunch Secretary, Bob Francis, by email or telephone by MONDAY NIGHT one week before at the latest. Please also copy in the Secretary, Stephen Macey.
