What's New in 2026
IMPORTANT - CHANGE IN LUNCH ARRANGEMENTS FOR OCTOBER
Members are requested to note that for the October 2026 lunch the usual arrangements where Members only notify non-attendance has changed.
If you are going to attend the October meeting and take lunch you must advise the Lunch Secretary (with copy to the Secretary and Treasurer) by email or telephone the usual 8 days before the lunch. Note that if you turn up on the day and have not already notified your attendance within the deadline there will not be a meal for you!! Hon Life Members and Associate Members should continue to advise their attendance as usual.
Any questions or comments about this change should be raised with the lunch Secretary. It is expected that the normal lunch arrangements will operate in November 2026.

Car parking at the Royal Motor Yacht Club for the months of June, July and August 2026
Probus members are reminded that during the months of June, July and August they must park in the RMYC boatyard and not in front of the clubhouse. Disabled badge holders may park in the disabled spaces in front of the clubhouse and must display their disabled badge.

Following the AGM the Club Rules have been updated and are also available in the Members' Section of the website.
Members are asked to note the following important change arising from the
vote by members at the AGM the Club has now ended free Taster Lunches.
When a member invites a guest, including for the first time to get a feel for the Club with a view to becoming a member, it shall be the responsibility of the member to ensure that the guest’s lunch is paid for. The Induction lunch and all subsequent meals shall be at the expense of the new member.
